Neuropathy Treatments

Feel the difference after your very first session!

Neuropathy Treatment

Whether you have neuropathy from diabetes, injury, or something else, this treatment will help improve feeling and function in your feet.

Gentle electrical stimulation courses through warm water (no, really!) to help your brain rewire the nerves damaged by neuropathy.

Most clients report feeling an improvement after the very first session.

What is Neuropathy and How Does This Help?

The Two Types

The two types of neuropathy are diabetic neuropathy and non-diabetic neuropathy

Neuropathy happens when the nerves are damaged and can’t send signals to the brain and body the way they should. In diabetic neuropathy, high blood sugar over time harms the nerves, kind of like rust eating away at metal. In non-diabetic neuropathy, the damage can come from injuries, infections, vitamin deficiencies, or even side effects from certain medications or treatments like chemotherapy. No matter the cause, the nerves start misfiring, leading to symptoms like pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness.

How We Can Help Your Neuropathy

Step 1: No More Guesswork

No matter the type of neuropathy, we start treatments the same way - our “mapping” process. Using an electrode like the one in the picture, we can locate precisely which of your nerves are affected by the neuropathy.

Step 2: “Wait, you do what?”

When I tell patients this next part, it almost always raises an eyebrow…

We fill a small basin with warm water and place several electrodes from the NeuFit Neubie electrical stimulation machine in the bottom. A gentle current flows through the water, which does a few important things:

  • Improves Circulation
Neuropathy often stems from a lack of blood flow to the nerves. The Neubie boosts circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients to nerve tissues in desperate need of a pick-me-up.

  • Nerve Regeneration
The patented direct current stimulation encourages neuroplasticity—your body’s ability to rewire itself. With consistent treatment, the Neubie helps nerves rebuild their pathways, like smoothing out potholes on a bumpy road.

  • Pain Reduction Without Pills
This is a biggie: many neuropathy patients find significant pain relief after a few sessions. The Neubie teaches your nerves to stop sending those “Hey, I’m on fire!” messages to your brain.

  • Better Muscle Function
Neuropathy often causes muscle weakness or atrophy because your nerves aren’t doing their job. The Neubie gets your muscles firing again, giving you better strength and mobility over time.

Step 3: From Pain to Power

After we’ve reduced the pain, it’s time to build strength in the muscles of the lower leg. This will help with your balance, walking gait, and reducing the risk of a fall. We’ll activate the muscles in your legs with the stimulation, giving you all the benefits of a workout without needing to lift heavy weights. This published study from 2022 confirms that!

“After the first treatment we did, I was able to not think about my feet when I went to bed. There was none of that tingling or burning when the blankets touched my feet.”

A new study published in the Journal of Diabetes Research found that people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy had major improvements after using the Neubie device. Researchers compared two kinds of electrical stimulation — direct current (like the Neubie) and the old-school TENS units — and found that the Neubie group had much better results. Participants had less pain, better nerve function, and stronger sensation after just a few weeks of treatment.

Meanwhile, the group using the TENS units didn’t show much change at all. This is real, peer-reviewed science showing that direct current therapy can actually help heal the nerves, not just cover up the pain.
